Christ was the ultimate and finalatonement for us.     In the Old Testament their atonement to God was to always be spotlessfor the sake of perfection (Morris, 147). They believed that the perfectatonement would set them free from completely their sins and thus make them clean inGods eyes. The Hebraic word for atone is.
