Ethical Issues: When it comes to ethical issues in this case it really surrounds the question is the ââ¬Å"healthyâ⬠snack is truly healthy and whether or not it will make individuals sick? Questions like what would happen to the reputation of the company are also in play? Finally, the fact that the employee came from another company and you, the company are assuming that what your employee is telling you is true. The company might also be liable in a way, from that employee squeaking about the other companyââ¬â¢s ââ¬Å"trade secretsâ⬠. Key Stakeholders/Whatââ¬â¢s at Stake: Whenever one faces a decision they should look to see all parties that might be affected. This would include even the smallest impact. In this case, it starts with the consumers. Then, if they would get sick from the chips, the company should then consider the friends and families of the affected victims between the emotional distress and not being able to achieve certain plans. Next, we should look at everyone that could potentially affected on the business side. For instance, if this works out well and the tests about the sickness was just a fluke, the business could easily thrive and this would create lots of jobs for the community and as a result there would be more money being spent in the economy. This would also make happy stockholders, shareholders and any other form of investors happy and probably more people would want to try and invest in the company creating more growth.
